WhatsApp update adds custom wallpaper to every chat

WhatsApp recently launched its masking feature. Now with the recent update, WhatsApp is adding support for setting custom wallpaper for every chat.

The new WhatsApp update adds a selection of new wallpapers and stickers. Moreover, it also provides a feature to allow users to set custom wallpapers for every chat with groups or individuals.

The new custom background feature in WhatsApp will help the users to differentiate every chat on the platform. This will also nullify the worry of sending the wrong message in the wrong chat again.

WhatsApp is the most widely used instant messaging system that Facebook has. Over the years, it has gained many new features and the latest custom wallpaper feature for WhatsApp that allows you to choose a specific wallpaper for each chat or individual contact.

You can set any wallpaper as you wish to create the mood you want. Additionally, as noted before EngadgetIn this case, you can set separate wallpapers for light and dark settings.

Any custom wallpaper you set will automatically switch from light mode to dark mode according to your devices’ settings. WhatsApp is also adding new colors to the default doodle backgrounds.

WhatsApp update also brings new and premium images of nature and architecture

To give you a head start, you can choose from the new and distinctive images of nature and architecture that WhatsApp brings. All wallpapers can be dimmed and lightened as desired by users.

WhatsApp also improves the search for stickers within the app. You can now search for any sticker that contains text or emoji. The popular stickers category is there if you need to search for any sticker in old school way.

Facebook encourages poster creators to make it easy to search for stickers using text or emojis. This can be done if the poster creators tag their stickers with emoji and text.

So, for example, if you want to search for any sticker related to “Birthday”, you can use the emoji “cake” to search for stickers related to “Birthday”. This makes the stickers easily searchable.

Finally, the latest update also adds a mobile version of WHO’s “Together at Home” sticker pack. Aim to make these stickers more expressive and useful.

Facebook has stated that a new WhatsApp update will start appearing for iOS and Android users globally over the next few days. Although, some iOS users might see the changes appear in the app already.
