This iPad and iPhone console supports the promised Xbox Series X in a future update

The latest and greatest iPhone and iPad models are capable of playing high-end mobile games, but you probably don’t want to be limited to touchscreen controls. A number of third-party Bluetooth controllers are available with support for iOS and iPadOS, but if you already own a game console, there’s a good chance you can use the console’s controller with Apple’s mobile devices. The Xbox Series X and Series S are currently an exception.

The newly released Xbox Series X and Series S consoles come with an updated console, one that does not currently work with Apple’s mobile devices. If you want to use an iPad to spend time on your device Maine Craft With a controller, you’ll need to use the Xbox Wireless Controller 1708, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, or Xbox Adaptive Controller.

Apple’s portable devices also support the PlayStation 4’s DualShock 4 controller, plus there is a large market of MFi Bluetooth controllers available – although some are less capable than others. The document doesn’t say when Apple expects to add support, but it appears iPad and iPhone owners won’t have to wait very Long until update arrives. Once support is available, Xbox Series X and Series S console owners will be able to pair the consoles to Apple mobile devices using Bluetooth.
