OnePlus has started rolling out the new update For OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. Either way, OxygenOS 220.127.116.11 is flagged, and the update is mainly for devices in Europe and India.
There are quite a few changes included in the change. These are mainly fixes and improvements, but there’s one new feature also mentioned, so we’ll start with that.
The OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro update brings a few fixes and one new feature
This feature relates to the keyboard on the device. OnePlus has added a keyboard height adjustment where you can raise or hide the bottom shortcut bar for a better input experience.
You can access this feature by going to Settings -> System -> Language & input, then clicking on the “Adjust keyboard height” option. This is a relatively small change, but one that is welcome.
The company also fixed the alarm, in some cases it started “abnormally”. Auto rotation has also been fixed, as it doesn’t work properly in some isolated cases.
OnePlus Gallery notable issue has been fixed
OnePlus has had issues with its Gallery app for quite some time now. On some devices, Gallery declined to display all photos. This problem has arisen from time to time over the past year or two.
However, it should now be fixed, at least on OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. Regarding bluetooth, the company fixed a small possibility issue that no popup window appears when a Bluetooth headphone is connected.
Some OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro users encountered WiFi connection issues, as it did not work in certain situations. Well, the company did its best to amend this issue as well.
OnePlus store has been added to the devices for the Indian market. Via this app, you can easily access your OnePlus account, get easy-to-access support, etc. Note that this app can be removed, although it has not been added in Europe.
This update is rolling out while we’re talking, but it’s rolling out in stages. This means you won’t get it all right away. It may take a week or two to reach everyone, so be patient.
