The alleged OnePlus 9 Pro was spotted on Geekbench with its 8GB RAM

We are just one month away from knocking on the doors of 2021. Many smartphone manufacturers including Samsung, OnePlus and others are in line to announce their flagship H1 phones.

For some reason, all OEMs are looking forward to an early release for 2021. Samsung has the Galaxy S21 (Galaxy S30) in the pipeline, while OnePlus will come with the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

While OnePlus is known to release its flagships somewhere in March, new leaks have already surfaced about the OnePlus 9 Pro.

It is worth noting that a device with the alleged OnePlus 9 Pro model number was spotted on Geekbench List. Moreover, the device is equipped with a random memory of 8 GB.

Apparently, the alleged OnePlus 9 Pro was tested a few days ago. It was measured under the name “LuBan LE2117”. Here the last bit of the Standard ID is the OnePlus 9 Pro model number.

That’s way too fast for a OnePlus device to make it onto the Geekbench list. But we’re all well aware that leakers and tipsters know more about upcoming devices than the company itself. So, nothing surprising here.

The alleged OnePlus 9 Pro runs Android 11 and has 8GB of RAM

The device spotted on the Geekbench listing, the alleged OnePlus 9 Pro is running Android 11. As we mentioned earlier, it comes with 8GB of RAM.

The motherboard of the device is codenamed “Lahaina”. Besides, the processor is an octa-core 1.80GHz chipset. Speaking of the benchmark scores, it has a single core score of 1,122 points.

While the multi-core score was 2733 points. The processor is believed to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875. Since the company will be packing the latest and greatest chipset from Qualcomm, there is no doubt here.

The Snapdragon 875 on the OnePlus 9 Pro has four core cores registered at 1.80GHz. Meanwhile, three performance cores were recorded at 2.42GHz, and one core at 2.84GHz.

Regardless of the processor specifications, the OnePlus 9 Pro is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. There are some unconfirmed reports claiming that it will come with a 144Hz display.

Since the information does not come from a reliable source, we recommend that our readers take it with a pinch of salt.

The OnePlus 9 series is also rumored to have 65W fast charging support. This is currently available on the OnePlus 8T. Moreover, the OnePlus 9 series is also expected to come with 40W fast wireless charging support as well.

Overall, the OnePlus 9 series, that is, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, is expected to be a powerhouse of devices. But to see this in reality, we will have to wait for the official announcement and release.
