Shiny Pokemon Events List Revealed GO Johto Region: Miltank Party!

The next Pokemon GO event will begin on January 26, 2021 in Johto. At this event, a variety of Shiny Pokemon will be available in larger numbers, many of them from the Johto region. Some are cute, some are helpful, and some are about to be found a lot easier – for a relatively short period of time.

During Pokemon GO’s Johto Region event, a host of Pokemon in the wild will be available in greater numbers than usual. Pokemon this Johto region includes Chikorita, Hoppip, Yanma, Snubbull, Cyndaquil, Miltank, Gligar, Slugma, Murkrow, Airpom, Sunkern, and Totodile. With the exception of Slugma and Hoppip, all of these Pokemon will be available as Shiny Pokemon.

To be clear, here, the only Pokemon specifically mentioned that appears in greater numbers as a shiny Pokemon is Miltank. Others (with the exceptions listed) will have regular spawn rates, but frozen spawn rates generally.

In Pokemon eggs during this Pokemon GO event, you’ll find Larvitar, Smoochum, Wooper, Iggybuff, Cleffa and Pichu. All these Pokemon will likely appear shiny. None of them will be particularly event style available – Miltank will be the shine you’ll likely find at the event.

In raids during this event, you’ll find Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Mareep, Marill, and Larvitar in single-star raids. All of these Pokemon have shiny versions in the game at this moment.

The 3-star raids during this event will include Pokemon that can be two stars: Miltank and Skarmory. The other three Pokemon in 3-star raids during this event are almost certainly not going to shine. Among them are Togetic, Espeon and Umbreon!

The five-star raid monsters that appear during this event are Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. All three have Shiny Pokemon versions in the game, but all three will have regular Shiny Mods. As such, don’t hold your breath!

The Kanto Johto Event Celebration Series will begin at Pokemon GO on January 26, 2021 at 10 am local time. This event will run until January 31, 2021 at 8 PM local time.
