Gigabyte targets mid-range gaming with its new Ryzen laptops

In the wake of Razer’s CES announcement of the new Blade laptops, Gigabyte has new gaming laptops to announce as well, although these devices are aimed more at mid-range consumers and are powered by Ryzen CPUs rather than Intel.

There are several different gaming laptops in Gigabyte’s 2021 pipeline, but the two devices that are focused on here are the mid-range A5 and A7, both of which come with a Ryzen handheld processor inside.

Every laptop is designed with users in mind that they aren’t necessarily looking for a gaming laptop. It is a laptop computer dog Used for gaming as well as other tasks like working from home, online education and general surfing only.

Since it’s more geared towards a mid-range user, it also comes at a mid-range price. This makes it accessible to a wider audience. Gigabyte says it targets “millennials and Generation Z users”.

Gigabyte’s new mid-range laptops start at $ 999

If you are looking for cheap gaming laptops, or at least “cheaper”, then you must have covered its new mid-range options.

The 15-inch A5 starts at $ 999. The price will likely go up based on configuration options, but this isn’t a bad starting point. If you choose the 17-inch A7, prices start at $ 1,399.

Not only do both laptops come with the new Ryzen 5000 CPU, but also the new NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU. So, while you probably won’t be pushing the super-settings visuals in any of your games, you likely won’t do anything lousy either.

When it comes to cooling the A5 and A7 use the Windforce Cooling System. Which is designed to help reduce crowd disruptions. So they continue to function optimally as possible.

Laptops have great refresh rates on screens, too. Configurations include both 144Hz and 240Hz displays. You’ll also find some of the usual things you’ll find on a gaming laptop. Like backlit keyboards and a large number of ports.

Availability should appear in February

Although these devices have just been announced, it doesn’t seem like it will be long before consumers can get their hands on these laptops.

Gigabyte aims to launch it sometime near the end next month. As for where to buy it, you are likely looking at many retailers online. Like Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy, and more. Of course, you can purchase it directly from GB.
