Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc, said Saturday that he “probably” has a mild case of Covid-19, as he continues to question the accuracy of the tests.
“I get completely different results from different laboratories, but most likely I have a mild case of Covid disease. My symptoms are symptoms of a mild cold, and this is not surprising, because coronavirus is a kind of cold,” Musk wrote in a tweet on Twitter.
He did not say whether the results were from the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, which are more accurate than the rapid tests.
“A little up and down. It feels like a regular cold, but feels more body aches and cloudy head than coughing / sneezing, “Tesla CEO wrote in response to a user asking about the symptoms.
Musk said Thursday that rapid antigen test results from the same device and the same test showed they were positive twice and then negative twice in the same day.
Musk’s presence in launching four NASA astronauts per week on his SpaceX spacecraft has been questioned due to the Covid-19 virus.
US Space Agency officials said on Friday that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s first full-fledged human mission using a privately owned spacecraft was rolled back from Saturday to Sunday evening due to forecasts of gusty ground winds over Florida.
