Samsung has gone beyond the saga with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, and it shows
Samsung announced the Galaxy S21 series at Unpacked, surprisingly at CES 2021. The Galaxy S21 Ultra deserves to be awarded Best Of CES 2021 this year, because it checks all the boxes. It features the highest specifications, plus a new and improved camera and a bold new design.
Many think the Galaxy S21 Ultra is really the competitor to this year’s smartphone, and we’re barely two weeks into the new year. Now that says something.
Samsung’s bold new full screen style
In the past several years, Samsung has made some massive changes to its design and style of its smartphones. Going from using cheaper materials, to using glass, and then iteration on this glass design nearly every year since the Galaxy S8.
The big change to the design front this year is actually the camera module. It’s still the camera bump, but it actually appears to be part of the phone, not something that was put in place at the last minute. It flows really well in the Galaxy S21 Ultra design.
Samsung calls it the “surround cut camera” and it blends seamlessly into the back of the phone.
The first smartphone in the US with Snapdragon 888 5G
The Galaxy S21 Ultra (and the entire S21 series) is the first smartphone to be released in the US, with the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. This is Qualcomm’s newest and largest silicone. It is a 5nm chipset, a first for Galaxy. This will provide better performance, while also providing better energy consumption. So that the 5000mAh battery can last longer.
While the Galaxy S21 Ultra has a number of other great features available, the performance is still impressive. It will be the most stylish smartphone on the market.
These are just some of the reasons why the Galaxy S21 Ultra deserves the Best of CES 2021 award.
