7 MLAs to join Yediyurappa Cabinet, one marginal defector

Among these seven new ministers, two – MTB Nagaraju and R Shankar – are defectors from the coalition government of Congress – JD (S). However, another defector Minirata was excluded from the government.

Confirming the speculation, Yediyurappa said that MLA and Independent Excise Minister H Nagesh will be dropped from the Cabinet. It is unclear if this seat will be filled.
